The Liechtenstein Gorge is one of the most beautiful, longest and deepest accessible wild water ravines in the Alps. This stunning glacial gorge is one of a kind and worth to visit.
Siegi Tours Sightseeing Adventure Salzburg.
A safe footpath of about 2km with awesome views of the river winds its way through the Liechtenstein Gorge, leading you over bridges, stairs and through tunnels to a wonderful waterfall at the end.
In some places the gorge is only a few meters wide with walls up to 300m high.
For centuries the waterfalls and the river made their way deeper and deeper into the ravine and created a picturesque and idyllic wonder – the Liechtenstein Gorge. At some spots the ravine is so narrow that the sky can be observed as a small strip only. This narrow, deep gorge with a river running through was named after the Prince Johann II of Liechtenstein.
In 1876 the bath was completed and from since on more than 10 million people from around the world have visited this natural wonder. The Liechtenstein Gorge in the Salzburgerland is a great adventure also for families too.
It is is open from beginning of May until September 30.
