## 🧑‍🏫 Beginner Ski Tips (Start with Confidence)

- 🎿 **Choose the Right Equipment**
Select skis, boots, bindings, poles, helmet, goggles, and gloves that fit your size and level.
- 🏞️ **Select Easy Terrain**
Begin on wide, gentle green or blue areas. Avoid red and black runs.
- 👩‍🏫 **Take a Lesson**
A professional instructor speeds learning and prevents bad habits.
- 🧍 **Master the Basic Stance**
Feet hip-width, knees flexed, shins forward, weight balanced, arms forward and open.
- 🧊 **Practice Gliding**
Start on flat terrain. Push off lightly and maintain a smooth glide.
- 🛑 **Learn the Wedge Stop**
Form a V with ski tips. Press inside edges to slow or stop.
- 🔄 **Snowplow Turns**
Shift weight to the outside ski to turn. Look where you want to go.

---

## 🏁 Advanced Ski Tips (Level Up Your Performance)

- 🧍‍♂️ **Refine Posture**
Stay centered with flexible ankles and knees; more weight on the outside ski in turns.
- 🌀 **Improve Carving**
On moderate slopes, roll knees/ankles to engage edges. Keep the upper body quiet.
- 🏔️ **Build Terrain Skills**

Pick terrain that challenges you wisely
- Adjust speed to conditions
- Keep legs supple to absorb bumps
- Stabilize the torso and look ahead
- Experiment with lines and styles for fun
